First Night Stafford is a relaxing and rustic celebration in Haymarket Common featuring a live ice carving demonstration, horse-drawn carriage rides through Hyde Park, a community bonfire, music, food and outdoor activities. Scheduled from 4pm – 9pm, the family-friendly event if free to attend with activities designed to bring the community together for a celebration finale of Stafford's Tricentennial!

Ice Breakers is New Hampshire premier ice sculpting company. Dennis Hickey and Dave Soha have been carving since 1997 and together they have created 100’s of unique, one-of-a-kind, sculptures for nearly every occasion. This New Year's, they'll be sculpting Stafford-inspired creations for your enjoyment onstage in Haymarket Common.
Wagon Rides | 4pm - 8pm
Bundle up and take a festive wagon ride! Truly a charming and memorable experience, passengers should meet near the Historical Society (2 Spring Street). Ride are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
Comedy Magic Show | 4:30pm & 7:30pm

With astonishing magic, entertaining games, hilarity, and lots of audience involvement, a performance by Michael Wald guarantees to captivate people of all ages. He'll be performing twice: the first at 4:30pm is designed for younger children and the second - at 7:30pm - will be geared toward teenagers and adults.
