Held within the Fair Grounds Banquet Facility at Stafford Motor Speedway, the Stafford Tricentennial Exhibition will showcase Stafford's philanthropy, creativity,

talent, and history. A celebration of past, present, and future, our goal is to depict Stafford's rich story through its citizens...this is YOUR exhibit!  Make history!    

Now seeking entries for the Stafford Tricentennial Exhibit Hall: 

Stafford on display

A creative opportunity for all ages: Residents - past and present - are invited to help tell our 300 year story by submitting Stafford-inspired projects. Submitted work should be thematic of Stafford, though mediums such as (but not limited to): painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media techniques, graphic design, sculpture, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts, and architecture.  From hobbyists to professionals and no matter what your age, we are pleased to display your creation during the 300th Year Anniversary Celebration. All entrants will receive a 300th Anniversary Commemorative Participation Ribbon.   

Arts and Crafts Collection 

Whether you craft, quilt or tinker, we invite your to showcase your talents and creations within the Tricentennial Arts and Crafts Collection. All mediums welcomed, including (but not limited to): basket weaving, book-binding, ceramics, crocheting, cross stitching, doll-making, hand and machine embroidery, enameling, floral design, jewelry, knitting, LEGO/building block creations, leatherwork, metalwork, needlepoint, quilting, woodwork and carving, wreaths, group projects, up-cycled crafts, toy-making, fiber art, decorative and applied art, sportsman, flower arranging, spinning/weaving...and more! Submissions encouraged from all age group, each entrant will receive a 300th Anniversary Commemorative Participation Ribbon. 

Nod to non-profits

Non-profit organizations, civic groups and public service entities build a stronger Stafford. You are an internal piece of our community's future and we invite you to share your good work within the Tricentennial Exhibit Hall. Promote your mission, recruit members and connect with residents and visitors. Participating groups are responsible for elements of their display, tables will be provided by the 300th Anniversary Committee. 

Town of stafford boards,

commissions & committees

The Town of Stafford relies on the work of citizen-driven boards to assist in the oversight of a broad range of projects and activities. Your volunteer work is important to Stafford's future and the exhibit hall will be place to connect with residents and visitors. From land-use to the library, all volunteer boards are invited to create a display describing their purpose and projects. Participating groups are responsible for elements of their display, tables will be provided by the 300th Anniversary Committee. 

SNAPSHOT OF STAFFORD

We want to celebrate Stafford's best assets - our people! Help us capture history and submit your historic and/or contemporary family photos taken in town. Submitted photos will be included within a slideshow, shown throughout the day in the Stafford Tricentennial Exhibition Hall. Later in the year, collected photographs will be printed within a anniversary book and enclosed with the 300th year time capsule, which will be dedicated on December 31, 2019.

6 ft. tables will be provided for exhibiting committees and non-profits. All other elements (table coverings, display items, easels, etc.) are the responsibility of your organization or group.
