To commemorate Stafford’s Tricentennial celebration, the 300 Year Anniversary Committee is coordinating a fundraising campaign to install the "Stafford Legacy Clock," a permanent landmark and memorable icon of 2019. Hand forged by the world-renowned Verdin Clock Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, the cast metal timepiece will feature a nostalgic appearance that symbolized workmanship, stability, and community.

Selected for installation within Downtown’s Haymarket Common is the “Howard Replica,” a 15’6” two-dial post clock with 36” backlit dials and an “Est. 1719 Stafford” custom header.  The clock is connected to a GPS unit that will allow it to run as an atomic clock, considered the most accurate timekeepers in history, little maintenance is expected to be needed.Situated within Haymarket Common, Stafford’s Legacy Clock will be a visual asset to the community and memorable icon of 2019. Show your support and be forever remembered for this exciting project that will be a focal point for years to come.
